Dr. Armita Aboosaidi

Dr. Aboosaidi grew up in the Bayview and York Mills area. After graduating from Havergal College, she attended McGill University in Montreal where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in biology and minoring in psychology.

 

     To earn her degree in optometry she attended The New England College of Optometry in Boston. Her four years of training in optometry included clinical duties at VA Boston (a veteran affairs hospital), the Joslin Diabetes Clinic as well as several community health centers.

     After graduating in 1999 Dr. Aboosaidi practiced at an ophthalmology clinic in the Boston area for one year providing pre and post operative care to surgical patients. She then returned to Canada in 2000 to practice in Toronto.

 

     Dr. Aboosaidi is also licensed to practice optometry in the states of California and Massachusetts. She is married and has two sons.
